Our cousins are in town staying with Grandmommy while their parents are away serving in Honduras for a week. We have been getting together to play and keep both families entertained. Grandmommy made bread with the kids today. They had so much fun. It is such a blessing to be part of such a great family. I really married into the best family ever.

"One night my father came to me in a dream. I began to chide him for not helping me know what to do [in my family business that he founded]. He said he was aware of my situation but he was busy where he was and his former business was not terribly important. “Chris, we really don’t care about the business up here,” he said. “What we care about very much is what you become because of your business.”
That was a great lesson I hope I never forget. What we get during our life is inconsequential, but what we become in life makes all the difference."
--I love this idea. So often I get so caught up in the temporal things, the wants, the burdens of money or lack of, the cleaning, my husband's job, but none of these matter. Yes, we must have them to survive this mortality but they will not matter in the next life. What matters now is how I am handling the trials given to me and who I am becoming.
