First day of school. How exciting and overwhelming. Overall everyone was pretty excited and optimistic. Samantha was the most worried and yet when she walked through the door after school here excitement and happiness was to the degree that her anxiety had been. She was delighted with the whole thing.
Elizabeth had the hardest time. She discovered that she had not gotten into the drama class she really wanted and has been in for the past two years. Sunday she decided to fast that she might be able to get into the class but discovered that the counselor would not budge. I am so proud of her for fasting and for having the courage to talk to the counselor. What an amazing young woman she is.
"14 But behold, it is for the righteous’ sake that it is spared. But behold, the time cometh, saith the Lord, that when ye shall cast out the righteous from among you, then shall ye be ripe for destruction; yea, wo be unto this great city, because of the wickedness and abominations which are in her."
I
don't think that the righteous will ever be cast out of America. I
think there are too many of us. We may be cast out of cities. I am
curious what persecution we will have to go through as this world and
country become more and more wicked
