Yielding Our Hearts to God
"Can we love Jesus Christ and His way more than we love ourselves and our own agenda?"
This
is a good question to ask when I don't feel like doing what I know he
wants me to. Like making VT appointments, playing with my kids, not
getting up early to study, etc. By asking if we love ourselves more
than Christ it puts it into a better perspective, it is about love
instead of will. I LOVE Christ and my Father in Heaven and I want to
show my love for them as they have continually shown their love for me.
