Not too long ago we celebrated our November birthdays.  Aunt KoKo, Derek, Aunt Christina, and Michael all  have their birthdays within a week of each other.  We celebrated the North Carolina birthday's at Grandmommy's house for Family Home Evening.  It was delightful.  Aunt KoKo made yummy cupcakes for Michael and delicious coconut cream pie for Daddy.  (She is our amazing pastry chef . . . yummm!) We have had great snow days down here in North Carolina.  Michael loves snowmen and was so delighted when they built a giant snowman across the street.  He has had to go over everyday and touch it and then sing the snowman song.  Taken 2 days ago Yesterday we went over and touched the snowman with John Derek.  It was 70 degrees outside and beautiful.  The snowman is just a stump now but still there.  A little while later after lots of laughter and joyous squeels John Derek and Michael came to the back door looking like this: Taken 1 day ago Only in North Carolina can you play with a snowman and voluntarily get drenched by the water hose on the same day!! Maddie was playing with her princesses last night.  She got a set of Sophia the 1st for Christmas and was quite facinated with all the characters.  We do not have cable or satalite so she has not seen an episode before and was asking us all sorts of questions about them.  Elizabeth was using her new phone to look up the answers.  She discovered the names of the characters and delighted Maddie with the information.  Elizabeth was then so sweet and came in to help me make dinner.  As we made dinner together we kept hearing Maddie from the play room, "What was the name of the King?" "Richard the 3rd." Then a few minutes later, "What was the name of the King?" "Richard the 3rd." Then she came into us and said, what is the name of the girl that kisses the King on the mouth?" My sister Annelise announced her engagement to Andrew yesterday.  We are excited for them. My sister Christina, her husband Chris, and their daughter Kate are visiting from Utah for Christmas.  It has been fun to have them.  Last night Kate celebrated her 1st birthday. My friend recommended the book The Infinite Atonement by Tad R.
