The weather is so beautiful. It only lasted a few days and is supposed to start raining today. But I have tried to spend most of my time outside. Michael loves being outside. I tried pinning him in on our deck yesterday but you can see how long that lasted. He and Maddie had so much fun playing outside. As I think about how much exercise we have not gotten over the last few months. I am reminded how much we love being outside an are just waiting for the weather to cooperate so that we can move and be free and get our bodies outside.
"for because the words of Isaiah are not plain unto you, nevertheless they are plain unto all those that are filled with the spirit of prophecy. But I give unto you a prophecy, according to the spirit which is in me; wherefore I shall prophesy according to the plainness which hath been with me from the time that I came out from Jerusalem with my father; for behold, my soul delighteth in plainness unto my people, that they may learn."
I
do feel that this time as I read Isaiah I was given more incite than I
have before. That things were clearer to me than they have ever been. I
am grateful to my Heavenly Father for that. I am also grateful that
Nephi speaks in plainness. That makes it so much easier.
"16 And after they have been scattered, and the Lord God hath scourged them by other nations for the space of many generations, yea, even down from generation to generation until they shall be persuaded to believe in Christ, the Son of God, and the atonement, which is infinite for all mankind—and when that day shall come that they shall believe in Christ, and worship the Father in his name, with pure hearts and clean hands, and look not forward any more for another Messiah, then, at that time, the day will come that it must needs be expedient that they should believe these things."
So
will the Jews continue to be persecuted? We see the nations
surrounding Israel continually fighting them. But is there more to come
and what will make them turn to Christ? Will we ever get missionaries
in Israel? I would thing that the Jerusalem Center would have some
influence with this.
